Many internet marketers are so focused on their online marketing campaigns that they forget that there are still many people who seldom, if ever, go online at all. A classified ad will enable people who don’t have computers to see your ad, while they can later log on to the internet in a public place if they decide they want to order something from your site!

Try leaving your business card in books at the library. Take a stack of cards with you to the bookstore and local library and look for the book section that is associated with your niche; slip your cards in between the pages. Many libraries frown on this action, so you will have to act quickly and be subtle about what you are doing. There’s should be no concern about getting into trouble with the law; if you get caught they will only tell you that you are not allowed to do that.

Buy space in the phone book. Internet marketers overlook this basic resource as a suitable place to advertise. Yes most people have started using the internet to look up phone numbers and addresses and local businesses. The good news is, most phone books have an online version as well as a paper version.

Use both of them for your ads. You should include an ad in both the online and offline versions to get access to the most people. Now that there is an online version; phone books are even more powerful than before.

Your website doesn’t have to be supported by only traffic that you find online. You just need some creativity, some patience and some willingness to spend a little bit of money. Remember, the average person spends a lot less time online than you may imagine. For years, the top internet marketers haven woven offline techniques into their online online enterprises, and they never would have made it there if they had ignored offline marketing.
